Ex-LOUDNESS/YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Singer MIKE VESCERA To Guest On EMPIRES OF EDEN CD

April 1, 2010

American vocalist Mike Vescera (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, LOUDNESS, OBSESSION) is one of the feature artists on "Reborn in Fire", the upcoming album from EMPIRES OF EDEN, the brainchild of PAINDIVISION/ex-DUNGEON guitarist Stu Marshall. Mike will appear on the song "Of Light and Shadows".

Commented Marshall: "Being such a huge fan of Mike's voice, I wanted to create an aggressive, dynamic song to match his style and attack. Add to that the huge influence of Yngwie Malmsteen and Akira Takasaki (LOUDNESS) and the pressure was definitely on for me."

Due in early June via 7Hard Records, "Reborn in Fire" features some of the world's most respected heavy metal voices. It "delivers an epic and aggressive power metal assault in the style of AVANTASIA and the collaborative genius of AYREON," according to a press release. It is capped off with the "incredible" artwork by celebrated U.S. artist Alex Ruiz.

Australia's EMPIRES OF EDEN is a collection of melodic power metal that has garnered unanimous praise worldwide. Incorporating huge melodic hooks, blistering guitar performances and a fresh approach to song writing, the debut was a massive success in Japan, released by Rubicon Records in July 2009.
